The protagonists in this series have been thrown into a strange, unfamiliar environment. They must adapt and explore this intriguing new location. Each of these women is perceiving the new world through a monochromatic tonality, one being purple and the other magenta. I utilized a colored filter in front of the lens coupled with a second filter that had Vaseline smeared onto it to express the dream-like narrative taking place in two different locations within the same world. To further emphasize the dreamlike, bewildered, and disoriented feeling, I edited these images to appear aged and distressed.
